Drivers must sign in for racing one hour before race time.
Drivers meeting
•        Our objective and main goal is to run a safe, clean, and fun race
•        We ask all drivers to be considerate of others (drivers and spectators) while on and off track. Try to maintain a professional
environment for everyone.
Flagging:  black , yellow, green, white, red, checkered
•        Black flag- driver is disqualified from race
1.        Driver may have mechanical problems and be asked to leave race until problem is resolved
2.        Unnecessary roughness on track such as intentional bumping
•        Yellow flag- means caution
1.        Another driver or obstacle is obstructing the track
2.        Drivers should immediately slow down and maintain current running order
3.        No passing will be tolerated under caution
•        Red flag- race will come to complete stop
1.        All drivers should come to complete stop on track and shut machines off if needed
2.        Race will resume after problem is cleared
3.        Drivers  should return to running order before the race will start
•        Green flag- starts the race
1.        Green means the race has begun and can be waved to let drivers know that race is still in progress
2.        Green flag will not wave until all drivers are grouped together in a tight race pattern
•        Green/white- tighten up field
1.        When green and white flag are crossed together in an X shape it means the field needs to group up tighter
•        White- last lap
1.        White flag indicates to all drivers that one lap is left to go
•        Checkered – end of race
1.        Leader of race has crossed the finished line and race is now over
2.        Upon finishing race, all drivers should exit the track and prepare for next race to begin
•        Alcohol-  “NOT TOLERATED”
1.        Drivers who have had the consumption of alcohol shall not and will not be allowed to operate machines
2.        Drivers will be immediately disqualified from race
3.        Money paid for entry fees into race is nonrefundable under these circumstances
4.        Drivers will receive DNS or DNF in points standings
•        Drivers meeting is held before any racing will begin and all drivers are required to attend
1.        For any reason driver is not at the drivers meeting will result in disqualification    “NO EXCEPTIONS”
•        Kill switches
1.        All mowers will have standard kill switches that work with lanyards
2.        All switches should be in excellent working order
3.        Lanyards should be attached to drivers anytime machine is in operation.  Failure to do so could result in disqualification
All machines should be checked prior to race to determine classes
Flat Track Lawn Mower Race Classes
1.        Single Cylinder-Only single cylinder engines will run in this class. Mowers in this class should all have factory lawnmower tires and
transmissions, minor engine modifications only
2.        
Twin Cylinder-Only twin cylinder engines will run in this class. Mowers in this class should all have factory lawnmower tires and
transmissions, minor engine modifications only
3.       
 Light Mod – Mowers with single and twin cylinders are allowed mowers in this class should all have factory lawnmower tires and
transmissions, minor engine modifications only
4.        
Outlaw- All single and twin cylinder mower with low and hi modifications  any after market tires transmissions and live axles will be
allowed in this class
Lawn Mower Drag  Race Class
Open-  All machines that resemble a lawnmower will be allowed in this class. Any drive train or engine modification will be excepted
•        All drivers entering a race will automatically be entered in points standings. Each race will be calculated into the points standings. Points
will be added at the end of the race season to determine places.
•        All mowers are required to have at least 3”to 4”number. This will help distinguish between mowers. Numbers should be visible. If any two
mowers have the same number one driver will be asked to slash a number to indicate between the two.  We try to ask that drivers help with this
because it can cause conflict and confusion.
•        All drivers should be aware that his or her mower is subject to inspection by an official at anytime due to the integrity of the mower and for
the safety of other
•        All drivers will be at least 16 years of age with a valid drivers license or proof of identification
•        All machines must resemble a lawn mower.  This will be at the discretion of the race officials.  Decks are required.
